This project was made in conjunction with my Dissertation, ‘These People are the Wreckers of Civilisation’: What was the Role of Radical Activism in COUM Transmissions Prostitution?. A large scale flip book documents a process of ‘détournement’ in an exploration of Guy Debords ideas on truth and separation. Using his own text, The Society of The Specta cle, drawings cover the words on each page until only a few remain, subverting the original meaning.
